World Smile Day
World Smile Day on the first Friday of October (October 6). It was created by commercial artist Harvey Ball in response to his creation of the iconic yellow smiley face. The little yellow faces are more than just a symbol; they represent the power of smiling. Smiling is a universal language that can bring people together, regardless of their background or beliefs. It can also help to reduce stress, boost our mood, and even improve our physical health. On World Smile Day, we can all take a moment to appreciate the power of a smile and spread some joy to those around us.

October Birthstone:
What is the October Birthstone? Pink Tourmaline and Opal
October’s birthstones are pink tourmaline and opal. Tourmaline, the primary birthstone, is rare because it is one of the few gems that can be found in almost every color. Some pink tourmalines have clarity as transparent as diamonds! Opals, on the other hand, are in a class by themselves.
