How to Bake Pumpkin Pie


-1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
-1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
-2 large eggs
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
-1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt until well blended.
  3. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
